Can anyone start CrossFit?

Yes--anyone can start CrossFit, regardless of age, fitness level, or training background.
At Third Monkey CrossFit, every workout is scalable, meaning movements, loads, and intensity are adjusted to meet you where you are. Classes are coached by a certified CrossFit coach and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, ensuring proper movement, smart progressions, and safe, effective training. Our programming emphasizes foundational strength and conditioning that delivers maximum return on fitness while minimizing unnecessary risk of injury. You don’t need to be in shape to start—you get in shape by starting. |

Is CrossFit safe?Safety isn’t an afterthought—it’s built into how we coach and program.
At Third Monkey CrossFit, every class is led by a certified CrossFit Coach and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who prioritizes proper mechanics before intensity. Movements are taught, scaled, and progressed based on the individual—not the clock or the person next to you. At the base of our programming, we emphasize the foundational movements that deliver the highest return on fitness with the least risk of injury. This approach allows athletes of all levels to train hard, progress safely, and build fitness that lasts. Our programming is 100% in-house and never outsourced, ensuring we can adapt training to our members while maintaining a clear focus on longevity and quality movement. |
